Winter SOCA Scavenger Hunt

Christmas:

• decorate a tree / railing / object of your choice!

• bake gingerbread cookies (bonus points if they are decorated, more bonus points if they are dragons, super extra bonus points if they are spiderdragons)

• listen to a Christmas carol service / Christmas music

• make up new ways of saying 'Merry Christmas' (one point per word)

• send Christmas cards or messages

• do some Christmas crafting

• make mulled wine (or apple juice, or other mullable beverage)

Winter:

• make a snowman! (or draw / crochet / craft one if there's no snow)

• send us pictures of the stars!

• write a short story about winter

• read a winter-themed book

• light a fire (safely)

• go ice skating (if COVID allows)

• take a picture of a pretty sunset

• make up winter-themed words! (one point per word)

• go to the forest

• decorate a Christmas tree with food for the birds

• WINTER is actually an acronym. What does it stand for?

New Year:

• think of things you are grateful for from the previous year

• make a list of fun things to do in 2021!

• if 'New Year' and 'Year' were towns, what would they be like? (like New York and York, if nobody gets my terrible joke… sorry)

• What would your ideal New Year's celebration look like? Create a New Year's celebration for an imaginary world or story :) Or create a festival of your choice!
